Pēpi Pack
Pēpi Packs is a new initiative for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. This kaupapa stems from the Better Start program which aims to provide a better start for pēpi. Pēpi packs equip pēpi and their whanau with essential resources to build a strong hononga with Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. Pēpi must be between the ages of 0-6 months old to be eligible for the pēpi pack.
Resources inside the pack include:
- Muslin wrap
- Beanie, mittens, booties
- Bib x2
- Panikawakawa
- Baby wash set
- Pēpi Kei Runga sign
- Hooded towel
- Reo books
- Bodysuits x2
- Hei
- Toku Pēpeha Book
- Whakapapa Scroll
Please note:
- Recipient must be between the ages of 0-6 months old.
- Recipient must also be registered with Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei; register online here.
- Applications close 31 December 2018.
