The Māori Medium grant is to provide financial assistance for students enrolled in Kura Kaupapa, Whare Kura or Rumaki Reo learning environments, with purchasing educational resources and/or contributing to school fees.

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) grant is for students participating in STEM related activities, e.g. Coding, Robotics and Animation.

Students who applied for and received a Chromebook in 2019 will not be able to apply for a Chromebook in 2020, but will be able to apply for an education grant.
