Whai Maia is the tribal development arm of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei.  We are a diverse business which encompasses education and learning, te reo Māori and culture, careers and entrepreneurship, housing, health and wellbeing, tourism and heritage, and environmental and resource management areas.

 

We are looking for a passionate Barista who is looking to refine their skills in the craft of making espresso and be a part of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei’s exciting new Tourism kiosk. You will be the face of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, welcoming manuhiri to our kiosk and sharing exceptional coffee with them.

 

This role will be based at our new kiosk, Hapimana St, Orakei and will be expected to work weekends on a as-rostered basis.  

 

Ideally, you will:

- Have barista experience

- Work well under pressure and use initiative to make decisions where required

- Be comfortable with tikanga and Te Reo Maori

- Be friendly and approachable

We are looking for a passionate Guide who will be a customer facing champion in the new Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Tourism kiosk. You will be the face of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, welcoming manuhiri to our kiosk and sharing the stories of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei through our Tāmaki Hikoi guided walks.

Description

We are looking for a superstar Nurse to work with the awesome team at our GP clinic in the Eastridge Mall, Mission Bay. We need someone highly engaged, passionate about patient care, customer-focussed, and comfortable in a busy clinic. 

 

This is a fixed term role for 12 months to cover parental leave. You will work with the administrators, nurses, and doctors to deliver a first-class experience.

 

Our ideal candidate:

 

- Experience within a GP clinic setting

- Tech savvy – preferably Medtech32 PMS

- Immunisation certificate

- Cervical smear taker

- Clear communication style, both written and verbal

- Enjoys working as part of a team

- Familiarity with kaupapa Maori an advantage
