The Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Trust invite Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei whānau to the 2020 Haerenga | Roadshow. These hui were held during the month of March 2020 across both Aotearoa and Ahitereiria.
The purpose of the 2020 Haerenga | Roadshows is to engage kanohi ki te kanohi with our whānau and to inform whānau about the proposed changes to the Trust Deed, to be put to a special vote in the upcoming Special General Meeting (SGM) taking place 13 September 2020 at Ōrākei Marae. The hui will be led by your Elected Representatives and NWO Staff.
The hui will focus on the proposed Trust Deed changes which include:
1. Membership definition for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei
2. Debt Ratio requirements
3. Electronic nominations, voting, hui and notices
4. Trusts Act 2019 alignment
5. Minor improvement and administration amendments
