NGĀ TURE. RULES
1. Kia roa ake i te 2 meneti te waiata – It must be longer than 2 minutes.
2. Ko ngā kaiwaiata, me ngā kaiwhakatangitangi katoa he uri nō Ngāti Whātua – All musicians included in the waiata must be of Ngāti Whātua descent.

Nō reira aini tūwhera mai ai ngā kuaha hei tuku mai i tō whitiata pārekareka.
Anei ngā kōrero ārahi:
1. Ka tūwhera tēnei whakataetae hei te 1 o Hongoingoi
2. Me tuku mai ki a huiap@nwo.iwi.nz mā te wetransfer
3. Hei te 5 karaka i te Rātapu, 8 o Hereturikoka, ka pāoho nga kaiwhakawā i ngā waiata ikeike e toru
4. Hei te 5 karaka i te Rātapu, 8 o Hereturikoka, ka pāoho nga kaiwhakawā i ngā waiata ikeike e toru
5. Hei te 5 karaka i te Rātapu, 15 o Hereturikoa, ka pōhi ngā waiata e toru ki te whārangi pukamata o Whai Māia. Ka tūwhera te ara pōti i tēnei wā tonu, ā hei te 5 karaka i te Rāhina, 16 o Hereturikoka kapi ai te kuaha ki te pōti.
6. Hei te 6 karaka i te Rātū, 17 o Hereturikoka, ki te Kura Pō ki Whai Māia, ka pāohotia ko wai te toa whakaihu waka o tēnei whakataetae.

Here are some guidelines:
1. The competition will officially open on 1 July 2021.
2. You can submit your video to huiap@nwo.iwi.nz via wetransfer.
3. The competition will close at 5pm on Sunday, 18 July 2021.
4. The judges will announce their top 3 choices @ 5pm on Sunday, 8 August 2021.
5. The 3 top picks will be posted to the Whai Māia page for voting from 5pm on Sunday, 15 August to 5pm on Monday, 16 August.
6. The winner will be announced live at the Whai Māia Kura Pō at 6pm on Tuesday, 1 August.
