Ngā Rangatahi a Iwi

Ngāti Whātua welcomes the Ngā Rangatahi a Iwi forum to Te Kahu Tōpuni o Tuperiri. This forum will be held concurrent with the National Iwi Chairs Forum.

The Ngā Rangatahi A Iwi Forum is a collective of rangatahi representatives that work within the Iwi Chairs’ Forum to discuss issues of importance for rangatahi Māori. They meet quarterly, in February, May, August and December at the Iwi Chairs’ Forum. Ngā Rangatahi A Iwi was initially established to align rangatahi perspectives, activities and work within mutual interest areas.  The aim is to develop a strategic and collaborative approach to rangatahi initiatives; strengthen rangatahi engagement; involvement; and commit to iwi development and succession.
