Hapūtanga Wānanga ki Tāmaki
Antenatal education programmeIn conjunction with Te Toka Tumai, we are proud to offer Wānanga Hapūtanga — a culturally responsive antenatal education programme designed specifically for our Māori whānau.
Grounded in tikanga Māori, this Wānanga Hapūtanga provides a safe and supportive space for whānau to reconnect with traditional birthing knowledge and practices.
This kaupapa empowers hapū māmā and their whānau to prepare for parenthood. This wānanga facilitated by Joanne Rama-Manga, aims to meet the growing need for antenatal education that reflects and respects tikanga and kaupapa Māori.
