    We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurses to work as part of a multidisciplinary team based at our various sites at Ōrākei Health Services, Toi Toi Manawa and the local community. 

    These roles involved working with the community to improve health outcomes and address health inequities, with a particular focus on: 

    • Tamariki Ora Well Child Nurse
    • Outreach Nurse 
    • Practice Nurse 

     Ngā tino pūkenga/whēako | Essential skills/experiences for the role:

    • You must be NZ registered with current annual practising and CPR certificates.

    Preferred but not essential:

    • Tamariki Ora Nurse - Postgraduate Certificate 
    • Current Vaccinators Certificate (training provided)
    • Clinical experience and passion for primary care and primary care nursing
    • Proven quality improvement experience
    • Knowledge of Te Reo Maori/Tikanga
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity

    We are looking for a Kaiwhakatau Manuhiri (Puna Administrator) to work with the awesome team at our Puna Reo in Ōrākei. 

    This position aims to ensure the front desk welcomes manuhiri positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. The Te Puna Reo Administrator is the first point of contact for our whānau and tamariki and offers administrative support to our kaiako and Tumuaki.  This role will also maintain tamariki enrolment and attendance, engage with whāanau, assist with rosters, hui and health and safety and maintain the Discover childcare management system.  This role also has responsibilities around funding, reporting and compliance.

  • Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity 

    The HR Business Partner is an amazing permanent newly created role to build the People and Performance landscape within Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. The function is building and will help transform the workplace with the impending introduction of a selection of HR IT systems, Te Reo and cultural programmes, OnBoarding and wellbeing initiatives.  

    Key Duties:

    • Leads ER issues until resolution
    • Provides prompt thorough recruitment services via ATS in line with policy
    • Proactively partners with Team Leads on P&P matters including PIP s and any disciplinary matters
    • Lead Year End Review processes and associated training and reporting
    • Implements any change processes in alignment with GM People and Performance
    • Liaise with P&P Systems Co-ordinator to build and execute specific OnBoarding and Exit processes
    • Ensures personnel records meet legal and privacy standards. 
    • Manage all queries via the P&P e mail system.
    • Ensure all HSE matters are dealt with and support around Wellness programmes is robust and well communicated. 
    • Be the HR IT platform expert over time.

    Ngā tino pūkenga/whēako | Essential skills/experiences for the role: 

    • At least 2- 3 years working as a Human Resource Business Partner with a strong focus on ER issues, policies and enhancing performance.
    • Strong cultural competency ideally gained from working in a iwi or similar context.
    • Must hold a tertiary NZ HR or legal qualification and have recent understanding in current NZ employment legislation.  
    • Must be used to partnering within a business with proven shifts in performance metrics.
    • Proven capability around accuracy, management of privacy and disciplined management of files.
    • Familiar with ATS, HRIS and LMS systems and technically savvy.

  • Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity 

    The People Systems Project Co-ordinator role is an amazing fixed term opportunity to implement an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Learning Management System (LMS) and HRIS into a diverse, supportive and interesting workplace.  Fixed Term Contract related to the implementation of systems July 2024 - Jan 2025.

    Successful performance in this role will be indicated by:

    • Completion of ATS, HRIS and other tasks by the due date 
    • Completion, accuracy and security of personnel of data loaded into HRIS
    • Feedback from employees (kaimahi) related to communication,  integration, conditional formatting, user experience, implementation and training via pre determined surveys
    • Number of alumni and potential candidates especially whanau registering on ATS
    • Culturally appropriate completion of all imagery on landing sites, interview kits,  reference checks,  forms, ATR, and competencies within ATS
    • Speed of response meets SLA for recruitment, OnBoarding and other HR queries
    • Ability to complete administration and ad hoc project tasks for the GM People and Performance and others to a consistently high standard with minimal supervision

    Ngā tino pūkenga/whēako | Essential skills/experiences for the role: 

    •  At least 2- 3 years working with previous HR IT system set up and integration, administration and project coordination experience ideally using Team Tailor,  IntelliHR or similar (ie. marketing CRM, QMS, job boards etc)
    • Understanding in current NZ employment legislation (ideally at a tertiary level)  
    • Ideally some level of understanding of Te Reo or willingness to learn
    • Must be used to coordinating human centred projects (or possibly marketing) using project management methodology such as Miro and Monday
    • Experience in implementing and completing UX testing and training for ATS, HRIS and eSignature Software, 
    • Technically equipped to complete problem solving when integrating multiple platforms and job boards
    • Strong creative streak to build out Career pages and Induction processes 
    • High level of detail, accurate administration and adherence to privacy policies

  • Poukaea Rautaki (Strategic Lead)

    Ko wai mātou | Who are we

    Manawa Tītī is a multi-agency response partnering local iwi/hapū, government agencies and non-government organisations to reduce family harm in communities.

    Manawa Titī operates under the Whāngaia Ngā Pā Harakeke model, a practice of dedicated staffing and infrastructure that includes:

    • A collaborative hub of iwi/hapū, non-government (NGO) and multi-disciplinary partners.
    • Safety Assessment Meetings held to consider all new police reports of family harm. 
    • Developing partner cooperation and coordination to align service provision with the needs of the community.

    Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity

    We are seeking a full time Poukaea Rautaki for a 12-month fixed term contract to lead and enable the delivery of the strategic priorities for Manawa Titī, to collaborate with iwi, government and community partners and to provide a connection between the Kaiarahi and Taumata.  This position is hosted by Whāi Maia but based at Manawa Tītī, the Balmoral Family Violence Police Station and reports to the Director of Manawa Tītī and Taumata ki Manawa Tītī.

    The person we are seeking:

    • Will be experienced leading and communicating across multi agencies and diverse relationships. 
    • Will have knowledge of the family violence sector and experience working with iwi/Māori communities. Relevant tertiary level qualification is desirable.
    • Have proven experience driving and implementing strategy and in an environment of indigenous collaborative practices.
    • Be a systems thinker and able to encourage innovative ways of working to achieve our vision:  Our whānau and communities in Tāmaki Makaurau are safe and supported to live their lives free of family violence. 
    • Have excellent skills and experience in facilitation and collaboration.
    • Demonstrate strong relationship brokerage and excellent communication in all disciplines.
