2024 Annual General Meeting - Hui ā Tau

The 2024 Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Hui ā Tau/Annual General Meeting will be held:

  • Sunday 24 November, 2023
  • Tumutumuwhenua, Ōrākei Marae
  • 10am tīmata

Registered members of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei are invited to attend. Nau mai, haere mai e te whānau.

Every year Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Trust holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to provide you with an overview of the previous financial year, to provide for you to vote on the general resolutions poll, and to look ahead to the current financial year. 

Attendance to the AGM can be in person or via Zoom webinar. A  unique zoom link will be emailed to registered members over the age of 18years (and with whom we have an email address for) in the lead up to the AGM.

    There are three ways to vote on the General Resolutions:

    1. Pōti Ipurangi | Internet Voting
    2. Kanohi ki te kanohi | In person voting at the AGM
    3. Pōti Poutāpeta | Postal Voting. Your voting pack will outline each option.

     

    Voting for General Resolutions close 12pm, Sunday 24 November both online and in person. To vote in person on Sunday 24 November, please attend the AGM

  • RESOLUTION 1 – ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MINUTES
    That the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 26 November 2023 be accepted as a true record of the meeting, and any amendments duly recorded.

    RESOLUTION 2 – FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
    That the duly audited Consolidated Financial Statements of the Trust and Controlled Entities for the year ended 30 June 2024 be received.

    RESOLUTION 3 – REMUNERATION
    That the AGM confirm the existing fees of $45,000 to be paid to each Elected Representative per annum with an additional fee payable to the Chair of $45,000 and to the Deputy Chair of $20,000 be approved.

The 23-24 Financial Statements and the Annual Report documents are currently underway. We aim to have these available to our whānau as soon as possible.
